Cloud networking provider promotes Robert Westervelt
GTT Communications has named Robert Westervelt senior vice president of channel sales for the Americas division.
The Lowdown: Westervelt, who was formerly VP of channel sales for the East region, will head up indirect-channel sales in the Americas, focusing on channel partner program strategies, initiatives, and relationship management.
The Details: Westervelt is a seasoned channel leader in the telecom industry, with more than 25 years of experience.
Background: At 2018’s Channelnomics Innovation Awards, which recognize visionary companies serving an evolving channel, GTT received the Solution Provider Innovation Award for its innovative SD-WAN service.
